Autism Society of America (ASA) is the leading voice and resource of the entire autism community in education, advocacy, services, research and support. The ASA is committed to meaningful participation and self-determination in all aspects of life for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. ASA accomplishes its ongoing mission through close collaboration with a successful network of chapters, members and supporters.

COSAC of New Jersey is a nonprofit agency providing information and advocacy, services, family and professional education, and consultation. COSAC encourages responsible basic and applied research that may lessen the effects of, and potentially prevent, autism. COSAC is dedicated to ensuring that all people with autism receive appropriate, effective services to maximize their growth potential and to enhancing the general public's overall awareness of autism.

The Autism Research Institute (ARI), a non-profit organization, was established in 1967. For more than 40 years, ARI has devoted its work to conducting research, and to disseminating the results of research.

The US Autism & Asperger Association, Inc. (USAAA) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The USAAA mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals and their families/caregivers touched by autism spectrum disorders by providing educational and family support through conferences/seminars, published and electronic mediums, and research. USAAA distributes information with regard to biomedical treatments/adjunct therapies and research to parents, practitioners, students, and teachers who are associated with the autism and Asperger's Syndrome communities.

Dr. Temple Grandin
Temple Grandin, Ph.D., is inarguably the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world. In her advocacy and education, she addresses the notion many have that "it is incomprehensible the characteristics of autism can be modified and controlled. However, I feel strongly that I am living proof that they can."
